Biography

Ira Fleming is a research technician in the Shalek lab working on producing and analyzing RNA-sequencing data as a lens for the study of infectious disease. He received his B.A. in Molecular Biology from Pomona College in 2018 and moved Eastward, away from SoCal and his home in Seattle. Ira also loves to run, hike, and play music that he composes based on gene sequences on his cello.
