Jen is a research associate working on the Human Tumor Atlas Network (HTAN) project who became interested in biotechnology after graduating with her B.S. in Animal Sciences (pre-veterinary track) from the University of Maryland, College Park. Jen then went on to gain her M.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Stony Brook University. She became a research technician/ lab manager at Cold Spring Harbor laboratory, under the mentorship of Bruce Stillman, where she investigated the characteristics and function of proteins involved in the ORC complex during DNA replication.
