Biography

Leonard is a student in the Harvard/MIT MD-PhD Program. He completed the HST preclinical curriculum and is in the second year of his PhD in the Harvard Medical School Immunology graduate program. In collaboration with investigators at Boston Children’s Hospital and Seattle Children’s Hospital, he is conducting research on the role of T cells in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease.

 

Leonard is originally from Toronto but his family currently lives near Atlanta. He finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and spent two years at the NIH’s Vaccine Research Center before matriculating to the Harvard/MIT MSTP in the summer of 2018. He enjoys playing and watching basketball, listening to music, and watching movies.
