Biography
Max is involved with the Shalek Lab through support for several IMES initiatives, namely the MIT-MGB Seed Program and MIT Program for Health Sciences & Semiconductors. He earned both a BA in zoology and MS in integrative biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on ecology and population demographics of invasive fish. He brings broad administrative and research support experience across state and federal agencies. Originally from the Midwest, he enjoys spending time exploring New England, knitting, and staying active.
