Biography

Tracy is a PhD student in Biological Engineering at MIT. She is interested in using single-cell and spatial omics technologies to study reproductive biology and host-microbe interactions.

She grew up in Shenzhen, China, and earned her BS in Molecular Engineering from the University of Chicago, where she worked with commensal anaerobes in the Lachnospiraceae family. After graduation, she spent a year in the Bay Area at BillionToOne, developing non-invasive prenatal tests. Outside the lab, Tracy enjoys staying active through snowboarding, bouldering, and basketball. She also loves dogs, cats, and guinea pigs.
