Zoë is a postdoc in the Shalek Lab interested in applying computational and experimental technologies to understand human disease. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Zoë received her undergraduate degree from MIT in Chemical Engineering (10B) and Biology (7A). She went on to receive her PhD from UC Berkeley through the UC Berkeley – UCSF Graduate Program in Bioengineering co-advised by Nir Yosef and Aaron Streets. Outside of lab, Zoë enjoys running, biking, hiking, books, and movies, and is currently teaching her rescue puppy to enjoy those activities too.
