In March and April 2026, members of the Shalek Lab traveled to Dhaka, Bangladesh, to strengthen scientific collaborations and support capacity building with partners at the Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF). Working closely with Dr. Senjuti Saha and Dr. Yogesh Hooda, the team met with local researchers to exchange ideas, discuss ongoing projects, and explore new opportunities for collaborative research. A key highlight of the visit was a hands-on training workshop designed to share experimental and computational approaches, fostering knowledge exchange and skill development among trainees and investigators. The trip underscored the importance of international partnerships in advancing biomedical research and reflected a shared commitment to developing scientific expertise and addressing global health challenges through collaboration and innovation.
