Maisha Kasole is a graduate student in the MD-PhD program at Harvard Medical School and Harvard University, where she is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a PhD in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics. With a background in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Maisha has extensive research experience in neuroimmunology, bioelectronics, and functional genomics. She is currently focusing on cancer research, genomics, and urology, exploring how these fields intersect to advance understanding and treatment options.

Maisha has developed innovative experimental and computational tools to study immune responses in tissues, and her work spans multiple disciplines, including machine learning applications for disease phenotyping and computational modeling for neuromodulation studies. Her research aims to uncover new insights into cancer genomics and urological conditions, with a goal of contributing to more effective treatments and personalized medicine approaches.
