Biography
Marc Wadsworth is a Chemistry PhD candidate in the Shalek Lab. His research interests focus on developing and implementing single-cell technologies to study infectious disease. Currently, Marc is applying these new tools to study the infectious ecosystems of M. Tuberculosis and HIV. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In addition to research, Marc enjoys teaching and is currently a teaching assistant for 5.07, Biological Chemistry I. When not in lab, he enjoys playing the piano, practicing jiu-jitsu, and cooking with his wife.
