Biography

Mark Godek joined the Shalek Lab in April of 2022. After completing a thesis on Inherited Risks of Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma in 2021, he graduated from Harvard Extension School with a Master’s in Bioinformatics. A Boston native, Mark graduated from Stonehill College in 2009 before managing biorepositories at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Mark’s interests include studying Japanese and refurbishing electronics.
