Biography

Sarah is a first-year physical chemistry graduate student at MIT. She is new to the Shalek Group and has yet to pick a project but is interested in exploring the field of immunology and infectious disease.

Sarah grew up in Wisconsin and completed her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There she worked in Professor Gil Nathanson’s lab studying interfacial reactions of N2O5 with salty water microjets. In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
