Biography
Tyler is a Biological Engineering graduate student at MIT interested in developing single-cell approaches to study cellular interactions and tumor heterogeneity.
Tyler grew up in sunny South Florida before moving to the Bay Area for temperate climate, good Asian food and a B.S. in Bioengineering from Stanford University. There, he worked in Professor Michael Lin’s lab to engineer photo-switchable modules for optical control of protein activity. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, making travel plans, drinking tea and cooking.
