Biography
Jasmin is a graduate student in the Harvard Immunology PhD Program. Her primary research interests are in immune engineering and in applying single-cell technologies to study immune cell identity and disease microenvironments.
Jasmin grew up in Los Angeles, but decided to give up the year-round warmth and trek across the country to earn her bachelors degree in Biological Engineering at MIT. There, she worked on infectious disease, neuroscience, microbiology, and cancer projects in labs around the world. This fueled her interest in immunology, which encompasses the intersection of these academic interests for her.
Jasmin looks forward to exploring science communication and policy, and plans to increase diversity of and accessibility to STEM education for young people. In her free time, Jasmin enjoys all things active or outdoors, petting dogs, curating Spotify playlists, and eating sour or spicy things.
