Biography
Sanjay (Jay) M. Prakadan is a physical chemistry doctoral candidate in the Department of Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and is co-appointed at the Ragon and Broad Institutes. His current research, under the guidance of Alex K. Shalek at the Institute for Medical Engineering and Science (IMES), focuses on developing techniques to probe single-cell behaviors at the genomic scale, application of single-cell tools to clinical liquid biopsy samples, and realizing computational frameworks to inform single-cell genomic analyses with additional cellular metadata. Sanjay received his bachelor’s degree with honors in Chemistry from the University of Chicago.
